BETTY WHITE: “THE GOLDEN GIRLS” ORIGINAL DIRECTOR’S CHAIR
Betty White’s original director’s chair from the production of the hit series The Golden Girls (Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions, 1985-92) on which White played Rose Nylund. The wooden chair has a black cloth seat and chairback which reads “The Golden Girls” in the title font from the series theme, and “BETTY” on the reverse side.

A screen-worn cream woven enamel ring and a pair of matching ear clips, from the personal collection of Betty White. This lot is composed of a ring en suite, size 8.5, out of round; and a pair of cream colored enamel woven ear clips, 1 ins.
The ring was worn by White on multiple episodes of the beloved American sitcom The Golden Girls (Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions, 1985-92).
Accompanying this lot are two 8 x 10 inch photos of White wearing the ring while filming The Golden Girls as well as a Commemorative People Magazine issue titled “America’s Golden Girl – Betty White at 100!”

BETTY WHITE: “THE GOLDEN GIRLS” ORIGINAL EPISODE 008-013 TELEPLAYS
A group of six original production used teleplays for the series The Golden Girls (Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions, 1985-92) numbered 008-013, labeled “final draft.” Four teleplays have interior pages signed “Betty White.” The scripts titled “The Competition” (dated October 9, 1985), “Rose’s Mother” (October 16, 1985) and “Stan’s Return” (October 23, 1985) have a small number of annotations by White.
Each teleplay includes a rehearsal/tape schedule and a short rundown of the episode, different colored pages from various revisions, and a label on the cover reading “Betty White.”
“The Competition” has a memorandum from The Merv Griffin Show (Merv Griffin Enterprises, 1965-86) inside, dated October 8, 1985 and addressed to White (whose name is highlighted), Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty, confirming a “new date for your taping of a theme show on ‘The Golden Girls.’”
Other episode titles include “That Was No Lady…” (dated September 11, 1985) and “The Triangle” (dated September 18, 1985).

A group of six original production used teleplays for the series The Golden Girls (Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions, 1985-92) from 1985-86, numbered 014, 015, and 017-20 and labeled “final draft.” Four teleplays have interior pages signed “Betty.” The script titled “The Truth Will Out” (dated December 11, 1985) is also lightly annotated by White.
The script titled “A Little Romance” (November 20, 1985) includes a letter from The National Multiple Sclerosis Society asking the cast of the series to accept an award called “The Gift of Laughter,” with a post-it affixed reading “G.G. stage before lunch.”
Each teleplay includes a rehearsal/tape schedule and a short rundown of the episode, different colored pages from various revisions, and a label on the cover reading “Betty White.”
Other episode titles include “The Custody Battle” (dated November 13, 1985), “Nice and Easy” (December 18, 1985), “The Operation” (January 8, 1986), and “Second Motherhood” (January 15, 1986).

BETTY WHITE: “THE GOLDEN GIRLS” ORIGINAL “IN A BED OF ROSE’S” AND CAST SIGNED FINAL EPISODE (PART II) TELEPLAYS (WITH DVD)
A teleplay for the Golden Girls series finale “One Flew Out of the Cuckoo’s Nest, Part II” signed by Betty White, Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty, and personally owned by White; together with White’s original, production used teleplay for the season one episode “In a Bed of Rose’s,” for which White earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Both scripts include a production schedule, set list, and a short run down of the episode. “In a Bed of Rose’s” has a label reading “Betty White” on its cover and a memo from co-producer Marsha Posner Williams telling the cast that NBC “will be sending a photographer to do more gallery shots of the four ladies following tomorrow night’s show…The shots will be done in the lanai set.”
In the episode “In A Bed of Rose’s,” Rose fears that she is cursed when a man she’s dating dies while they’re in bed together, just like her husband Charlie. In “One Flew Out of the Cuckoo’s Nest, Part II,” Dorothy marries Blanche’s Uncle Lucas (Leslie Nielsen) and moves away with him.
Includes a DVD of the complete first season of The Golden Girls, featuring the episode “In a Bed of Rose’s.”

BETTY WHITE: “THE GOLDEN GIRLS” 1986 AMERICAN COMEDY AWARD
An award for “Funniest Female in a Television Series” received by Betty White for her iconic performance as Rose Nylund on the series The Golden Girls (Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions, 1985-92).
The award is a gold-tone comedy mask suspended in a translucent rectangular cube on a black base bearing a plaque which reads:
“Funniest Female In a Television Series/Betty White/”Golden Girls”/1986”
Accepting the award, White said:
“Now this is a joke. I mean this is a comedy show, and this is just kind of a put on–we’ll put the old broad on and then let’s see, you know, we’ll take it away from her and laugh. Well I must say the first time for anything is so marvelous…I am genuinely and deeply thrilled, but two other ladies deserve it just every bit as much, as we’ll all share it. Thank you so very much, and Estelle and Beasie, thank you.”

A “Star of the Year” award given to Betty White by Hollywood Women’s Press Club in 1986 for her performance as Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls (Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions, 1985-92). The award is shaped like a golden apple on a removable marble style base and has a gold tone plaque which reads:
